Condo Management Education Program

Condo Management Education Program

The Alberta Condominium Management Education Consortium (ACMEC) – a joint partnership of CCI North and South Alberta chapters and the Alberta Real Estate Association – are proud to provide three course options to assist condo managers in meeting their RECA licensing requirements.

NOTE: All learners must confirm their eligibility with the industry regulator before taking condo management courses. Information about the Real Estate Council of Alberta's regulatory requirements is available on the RECA website.

Fundamentals of Condo Management

Cost: $700; Hours: 40

The Fundamentals of Condo Management program offers the foundational knowledge needed to operate successfully as a Condominium Management Associate or Broker in Alberta. The fully self-paced e-learning provides eleven units covering topics such as Introduction to Condominiums, Real Estate Act and Rules, Agency Law and Representation Relationships, Ethics, Professionalism and Licensee Risk Reduction, Effective Negotiation and Dispute Resolution, Privacy and Confidentiality and many other essential topics. RECA registration and pre-approval is required before beginning this lesson. Fill out the intake form below to get started. 

Practice of Condo Management

Cost: $700; Hours: 60

The Practice of Condo Management program offers practical, hands-on knowledge needed to operate as a Condominium Management Associate or Broker in Alberta. This fully self-paced e-learning provides sixteen units covering topics such as Condominium Property Management and the Law, Corporation, Board and Owner Responsibilities, Condo Management Services, Governance, Condominium Meetings and Communications, Building Operations and many other essential topics. RECA registration and pre-approval is required before beginning this lesson. Fill out the intake form below to get started. 

Condominium Management Broker

Cost: $700; Hours: 20

The Condominium Management Broker program offers critical information for a Condominium Broker to successfully operate in Alberta. This fully self-paced e-learning provides five foundational units covering topics such as Managing Compliance, Managing Personnel, Managing Finance, Mitigating Risk and Providing Leadership and Governance. RECA registration and pre-approval is required before beginning this lesson. Fill out the intake form below to get started.
