AREA’s 10th Annual Government Liaison Days has wrapped up, and it was our largest and most successful event yet! Over 500 REALTORS® from across Alberta came together at The Westin Edmonton, representing all 10 regional boards and engaging in a newly refreshed programming format. It was especially exciting to welcome so many first-time attendees to this milestone event.

Day One featured an address from Premier Danielle Smith at the MLA reception, an insightful economic forecast from Shaun Cathcart, CREA’s Chief Economist, followed by a comprehensive update on polling trends from Janet Brown. On Day Two, attendees received valuable updates from Minister Dale Nally on Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction initiatives and heard from the Official Opposition Leaders Naheed Nenshi and Rakhi Pancholi.

We’re already looking forward to seeing you at next year’s Government Liaison Days!

Since its inception in 2004, the foundation has proudly granted over $418,000 to support local organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, the Food Bank, the Women's Shelter, Saamis Immigration Services Association, and Medicine Hat Community Housing Society.
