Did You Know?

AREA collects CREA dues for the following boards/associations: AWRA, CARA, FMREB, GPAAR, LDAR, MHREB, RALD, RASCA.

CREB® and RAE members pay CREA dues directly to their local board.

AREA Dues Policies

Existing members: annual dues deadline
  • Membership runs January 1, 2026 to December 31.
  • Annual dues must be paid in full by February 28, 2026.
  • Failure to pay by the deadline may result in suspension of member privileges, including MLS® and Data Co-op access, effective March 2, 2026.
  • Dues are non-refundable and subject to applicable taxes.
  • AREA offers, through its payment portal,  the convenience of auto renewal for the payment of annual membership dues.  Your dues payment will not be charged to your credit card until the amount is due and owing.  You may opt into this feature at the time of any payment and may opt out at any time thereafter.  By opting into the auto renewal payment, you acknowledge that your credit card details will be stored and processed by a third party, not AREA, and release and waive all claims against AREA, its affiliates and representatives that are in any way, directly or indirectly, related to the foregoing.
New to industry: payment at time of joining
  • Dues must be paid in full at time of joining.

Proration (joining partway through the year)
  • Join on or before September 30, 2026: full annual dues apply.
  • Join on or after October 1, 2026: AREA and CREA annual dues may be prorated based on the month joined.
  • Initiation/initial fees are not prorated.
  • Members receive confirmation of their specific dues total in their welcome email based on board and enrollment month.
